Two women, one vision:

JAKA Family Collective – where friendship meets responsibility.

Some encounters change everything. Our story didn’t begin in a design studio, but rather during professional exchanges at a large pharmaceutical company. Between meetings and projects, we quickly discovered we were on the exact same wavelength.

Even though we valued our jobs, the desire for a career change was growing in both of us. We wanted to create something that truly reflected our personal values. As Kathi, a dedicated mom to a little boy, and Jacky, a proud aunt to now eight (!) lively nephews, we know one thing for certain: only the very best is good enough for our children.

We gathered our courage, left our safe harbor (just a little), and turned our dream of independence into reality. That’s how the first milestone was set, and JAKA Family Collective was born. 🚀

Who we are:

Katharina Wingendorff - The lionheart from Bavaria, Germany. As a mom, she knows the daily challenges and understands that clothing shouldn't just look beautiful, but must also be functional and toxin-free.
Jacqueline Betschart - The creative soul from Schwyz, Switzerlandf. As an 8-time aunty, she is an expert in longevity and knows the joy that high-quality, favorite pieces can bring when passed down through generations.

Our Mission: More than just an Online Shop

Why do we do this? Because we believe that consumerism needs to work differently today. With JAKA Family Collective, we are creating a place where:

We are breaking away from the throwaway culture. In our shop, you will only find products that are manufactured under fair conditions and honor natural materials. Our heart beats for the circular economy and our beautiful planet – we focus on longevity and quality.

We believe that less is often more. Instead of mass production, we focus on selected materials like certified organic cotton. Every piece is gentle enough to protect your child’s delicate skin, yet robust enough to join in on every adventure.

For us, sustainability means thinking things through to the very end. We promote the circular economy: our products are designed to be loved, worn, and passed on to the next child. We want to provide a long-lasting alternative to fast-fashion culture.

Thanks to our shared background in the pharmaceutical industry, we know how important safety and clear proof of origin are. We only work with partners who share our values: fair wages, safe workplaces, and a transparent supply chain.
